Magnette Academy is founded by Jenna-Leigh Schnell, founder and MD of Magnette Event Management and Ross Walker, founder and Creative Director of The Creative Clan.

Creative Director: Ross Walker

Ross is the co-founder and Creative Director of Magnette Academy. Ross also heads up The Creative Clan, a digital creative agency.

Ross graduated from Vega Brand School and went on to travel and work oversees. He has worked across the globe as photographer, videographer and creative director and has worked with a variety of top international brands. In 2019 he won the coveted award of Creative Director of the year awarded by Carnival U.K. 

Understanding that learning is best experienced and retained through multi-media channels, the family duo designed The Academy’s flagship course to be a multimedia learning experience, featuring high quality and engaging video content. True to Ross’s vision of creating captivating learning material he directed the Magnette Academy Masterclasses.

Course Director: Jenna-Leigh Schnell. 

Jenna is the co-founder of Magnette Academy and the founder and Managing Director of Magnette Event Management. Jenna has a Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing Management from UCT, over 15 years of experience in the marketing and event management arena, an Honours degree in Psychology from UNISA, and has managed some of the most prestigious tech conferences and events in Africa for a range of global blue-chip companies and established local corporates.

Jenna conceived the idea of creating an academy designed specifically for the eventing, hospitality, production and corporate wellness industries. Jenna’s vision is to provide a platform that supports service providers by improving their skillsets and provides easy to understand education about the various technologies that have emerged in their sector.
